Woman in Hijab Mold – portrait with draped scarf

A woman's face framed by a hijab: large eyes with lashes and arched brows, a straight nose, full lips, and the scarf wrapped close at the crown before falling in soft folds down over one shoulder. The piece is cut to the line of the drape rather than a plain oval, so the silhouette does half the work. The white cast shows the fold shadows clearly. Those shoulder folds are the deepest part of the cavity, so start the fill there and work up to the face.
