Stone Bridge Train Mold – Locomotive Through an Arch

Portrait-format scene: an old steam engine emerging from beneath a stone bridge, the arch built of neat coursed blocks and the smoke breaking upward over the top of it. Bare winter branches lean in from both edges, and the rails and sleepers run out of the arch toward you, narrowing as they come, with rough grass along both sides of the track. Plenty of fine line work in the stone courses and the sleepers — flood it with a thin dark wash and wipe the raised faces back, and the whole scene separates itself.
