Love Birds Mold – Round Dove Plaque with Blossoms

Two doves sit close together inside a round frame, the nearer one with its wing thrown open in a wide fan of layered feathers that reaches right out to the rim, the other tucked in behind it. Leaves and small blossoms fill the surround and gather into a cluster along the bottom edge. Every feather is cut separately, which is lovely to look at and also means the fanned wing is where air will hide — flex the mold as you fill it. Cast plain white here, it takes a soft grey wash between the feathers particularly well.
