The whole face is fringe — a heavy shaggy forelock hanging straight down over the eyes, wide horns sweeping out and then up on either side of it, and a soft broad muzzle underneath. Shown twice: once cast in translucent teal, filling a palm at three inches, and once painted up with the coat washed green and gold and the nose left pink. All that hair is fine parallel line work, so a dark wash brushed in and wiped back off the high points does far more for it than flat colour.
