A chubby kitten mermaid lying on her front: big glossy round eyes with lashes, tufted pointed ears, a soft ruff and long wavy hair spilling over her shoulders, front paws stretched out ahead of her, and a long scaled fish tail curving up behind into a broad two-lobed fin. Shown as a white cast on black. The scales are cut shallow and even, so a wash brushed over them and wiped off the high points is what makes the tail read.
