Raincoat Mold – Rainy Day Coat, Spring Shower Casting

A little raincoat laid out flat and front-on: pointed collar opening in a V, four round buttons down the centre placket, two patch pockets low on the skirt each finished with a gathered ruffle, and wide sleeves flaring out to turned cuffs. The hem swings wider than the shoulders, which gives the cast a nice stable base to stand on. Button dots and the ruffle folds are the small detail worth chasing — one pass with a wash pulls them straight out of a single-colour pour.
